The Property

The Château de Roche is an 11th century castle completely rebuilt in the 18th century in the classical style. Situated on the border of the Jura and the Doubs departments in Roche-sur-Loue, a hamlet dependent on the municipality of Arc-et-Senans 30 km southwest of Besançon in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, the castle is in an excellent condition and listed as a historic monument. The castle has more than 1,000 m2 of living space and set on grounds of 2.6 ha bordered by the river Loue.
